Analiese has been taking metal arts since freshman year.  She thinks it is really cool how anything can be created into jewelry.

Veronica Ellers, Principal of Gladwyne Elementry School, says "Students seem happy and to really like art. [We] switched from half hour classes to one hour, [which is] way more beneficial."

Samantha, a Junior at Harriton, prefers fashion design over painting and drawing.  "Art is important as it gives students opportunity to express oneself and gives a break from other hard classes."

Dan Halprin, Director of Education, says "Art is essential in schools. One of the few classes that actually teaches students how to think instead of buy and sell, which is what most other subjects are focused on now."
