My Artist’s Space - Ben Boland

With these pictures, I wanted to highlight the small figures and trinkets I have gathered throughout my life. These things represent who I am and how I’ve grown over the years. I also wanted to capture a lived-in feeling; wrinkled pages from old books, toys covered in a fine layer of dust. I hope through these pictures, you can get to know me a little better.

Something else that’s present is my affinity for blue. The color can be spotted in most of my photos and the clothes I wear. Although the many figures and large TV make it hard to work, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It wouldn't feel right. Seeing as my room doubles as my workplace, I basically never leave. I also included some shots of my front porch, seeing as I often edit there with my dog if it's not too cold. I have never done anything like this before, so I hope you enjoy my work.
